Contractor tried to get one by!

I was called to test a PVB on an auto fill line for a swimming pool.

The pressure was so low on the house that the PVB was not able to achieve a seal. It was continuously dumping water.

I advised my customer of the situation and low water pressure. I asked him to Call me when he and his plumber get it resolved.

He called me back. I asked if they figured out what was happening with the low pressure and how did they fix it. He said he does not know and that his plumber must have figured it out because it was not leaking or discharging water.

I was ready to inspect.

The air inlet never broke open to atmosphere.

So, I took it apart to see what was happening?

This is what I Found.
